Ok Hear me out, power point is not just a lame presentation tool anymore. It can be used to make nice graphics, and banger video clips. Follow my YouTube series to effortlessly learn the secrets of the trade.
Free Tools
Vector graphics are the best approach for preparing figures, in case you might need to send them to a publisher in the future. Not everybody are willing to pay for adobe illustrator which is why I strongly recommend trying Inkscape.
